Creative blur photography is a genre of photography that deliberately introduces blurriness or intentional motion into an image to convey a sense of artistic expression, mood, or emotion. Instead of aiming for sharp focus and clarity, creative blur photographers use techniques to distort, manipulate, or emphasize certain elements within a photograph. This style of photography can produce visually captivating and abstract images that stimulate the viewer's imagination and emotions. Intentional camera movement (ICM) involves deliberately moving the camera during the exposure to create abstract and painterly effects. This is what I have done here with this copse of birch trees along US HWY 191 just north of Jackson Lake in Yellowstone.
