Grand Tetons Mountain Pano

The Grand Tetons, located in northwestern Wyoming, are a stunning subrange of the Rocky Mountains.  This would be a great add to any ski or mountain house.

These jagged peaks rise dramatically above the surrounding landscape, with the Grand Teton itself reaching 13,775 feet (4,199 meters) in elevation. The area is renowned for its breathtaking alpine scenery, pristine lakes, and abundant wildlife, making it a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. Grand Teton National Park, established in 1929, preserves this natural wonder and offers a wide range of recreational opportunities, including hiking, camping, and wildlife viewing. This view of the Tetons took my breath away as we stopped along the John D Rockefeller Jr Parkway to look over the frozen Jackson Lake to see Grand Teton (elevation 13,775 feet) and the surrounding peaks.

This is a panorama, compiled by a technique where multiple individual photographs are taken and then seamlessly stitched together to create a single wide or expansive composite image. This method allowed me to capture a broader view of the Tetons than what can be achieved with a single photograph. To ensure successful stitching, each photograph in the series had about 20-30% overlap with the previous which provides visual cues for panorama stitching software to align and blend the images seamlessly. This panorama is a composite of five photographs and the total file size is almost 300MB; very high fidelity!
