Open-air markets in Palermo, Sicily, offer a vibrant and authentic experience for buying fresh fruit. These markets, such as Ballarò Market and Vucciria Market, are bustling with colorful stalls and local vendors. It's an excellent opportunity to savor the flavors of Sicilian produce while immersing yourself in the rich culture of the island. This stall was in the Piazza del Carmine in Central Palermo. The smells and sounds were different than other markets I visited and made this one of the more memorable spaces to visit.
